today is just another peaceful day, the chlorophyll in the leafs of the plants shine with bright green reflections.
well, stop i will stop the crap. early in the morning 7.45, when to buy some sweets in order to continue a long day ahead. every thursday, you will always have sweets during classes as i will offer them to you [ this depends on my mood, and the teacher teaching]
today, nothing special happen, no unlucky things, weird things, strange happenings and stry facts. just going to tell you what i had learnt during biology lessons
LESSON 1, THE HEART
the heart is a pump in our body, it pump bloods into blood vessels. the heart has 2 atriums and ventricles, 2 pair of semilunar valve, bicuspid valve and tricuspid valve.
the left atrium will recieve oxygenated blood from lungs through the pulmonary veins and the blood goes to the left ventricles and to the arteries, bringing the blood to all part of the body.
the right atrium, will recieve blood from the superior and inferior vena cava. the deoxygenated blood will travel into the right ventricle and to the lungs through the pulmonary artery.
LESSON 2, THE BLOOD
the blood is a liquid substance which bring oxygen to all the cells in our body.
the blood contains, red blood cells, white blood cells, plasma and platelets.
the red blood cells has no nucleus and it contains haemoglobins, which gave the blood red colour. the bone marrow produce them, after a certain time they will be brought the the liver for destruction. the main function of red blood cells is to transport oxygen to cells and homones to other parts of body. it has a biconcave shape
the white blood cell is a kind of immune cells, it kills germs, bacteria that gets into our body through cuts and wounds.
plasma is a yellow colour liquid that made blood liquified.
platelets is a cell that tends to form a clot on the cut or wounds to stop the bleeding.
LESSON 3, THE BLOOD VESSELS
HAHA, guess you getting bored here, but i dont CARE. i love bio. *booooo!*
there are 3 types of blood vessels, the veins, the artery and the capillaries.
the artery has a thick wall, small lumen as the pressure of the blood is high, the thick wall prevents the vessels from tearing. the vessels carries blood away from the heart. oftenly, it carries oxygenated blood to other parts of body.
the veins has thinner walls compared to artery, the lumen is big, it contains valve too. the wall is thinner as the blood pressure is not as fast as the artery. oftenly, it contains deoxygenated blood back to the heart. the vessels carries blood towards the heart. the valve will stop the blood from going backwards, so it is against gravitional force.
ok i had finish my lessons. what a great time i had.
haha.
ok, got to stop, no more energy for typing!
TAN SHU MEI - is it BIG enough?
