Yesterday was the annual speech day in Junyuan secondary. It is one of the most important event in school. the day start off quite well in the morning, did some essay for SS. 3 free periods for english and went home straight after school.

then, the fun part started. Daryl, Shye Fern, Jia Wen, Xu Ning, Eunice and I went to soul garden at tampines mall for the so-called "farewell lunch" for the seniors. there are so many things [food] there. It was like a eating party, and we ate like no one else business. There were chicken, beef, eggs, veg, ice-cream and many others blah blah etc etc. from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm we were eating, playing and crapping none stop.

After that we went to Yamaha to buy some Picks and admire the cool guitars. the rest of the process was just crap. i won't further elaborate.

Then we went to school at 6.30pm. prepare everything. listen to ms yuen, blah blah. then it was our turn to perform. It started out not really good as all the song's name were announced wrongly. We played 3 songs instead of 5 because time is running out. and Band NEED to perform their song. fine then. I know we are as small as a dot in school, to them we are nothing. Now the seniors is stepping down. we are even smaller then a dot. we lack of senior members and next year is our SYF. Nevermind, no matter what, we must get gold. we don't want the OTHERS to look down on us. no way.

We left the school at about 8.30 pm. and went to central park stage there to slack. we played songs, sang them and talked about our problems. blah and went home after that. reach home at about 10.30 pm.

here's something to say to the seniors:

Daryl aka daryline or dog [ president of GC ]
you are very good in guitar, thanks for teaching me when i dunno what i was playing. you rocks. i know its hard for you when we don't want to listen to ms yuen. It's going to be REALLY weird without you in the guitar club classroom. there will be no more laughter of the seniors in the room now.

Xuan Hui [ vice- president of GC ]
you were the president at first, but you refused to be a president, so ms yuen make you a vice president. crap ah you. you are very good at writing lyrics, i know, hope you continue to come and support us even if you stepped down. It will be less fun without you all.

Shye Fern [ vice- president of GC ]
another vice- president. can play very well in solo. know how to play piano. very talented. also another crappy person. i know she don't like durians. ha. very lame. After O lvl must come back or sneak in to watch us perform and get GOLD for SYF.

Jia Wen aka money face [ treasurer of GC ]
used to told by ms yuen to collect money from us. crap and is always lame. like to suan other people like daryl too. a typical 4E3 people just like shye fern. Remember us. don't forget to visit us after O lvl.

Eunice aka Unice
play well for both solo and rhythm. another talented senior who is leaving. quite crappy and lame. will join in the juniors in suaning the president. always with sikai after guitar practices. good luck and remember to come back and find us.

Si jie aka nokia girl
one of my senior from sec 4. very crappy.trick teacher and the president [they are too easy to be tricked ] very fun to be with her. now she is leaving, no more fun already. just come back and support us if you can.

Yusa
always have his reasons to skip guitar. but always kena out-talked by ms yuen. like to be lame and crap. another one from 4e3. good luck for o lvl exams and come back to watch us perform after o lvl

Suhaila
the one who laughed the loudest when i sneeze before the speech day performance. she is always crappy and funny. a good SC. hope to see you score well in exams and come back to tell us the good news.

Siti
the senior who is always with suhaila since she was sec 2. she was quite quiet. but i think she might be also quite funny. influenced by us? good luck and come back or come and support us. we shall get a gold for SYF.

Pearlyn
she was always alone sitting at a corner. but when i speak to her, she could be really fun and funny. often try to escape from guitar practices but also often caught and questioned by ms yuen [ pearl an say one ]. now you dont have to worry about her. good luck for everything and come back to support us.

Yeah! Exams is coming, which means it is time for us to see the results of what we had learn and concluding if we are listening in class for the pass few months. I like exams as they bring some advantages to us.

we can go home immediately after exams. no more lessons. no more learning. FANTASTIC! then i will not need to stay back until 5+ to study.

this few weeks there are lots of test. although i didn't score well [ expected as i did not revised for any of them ], i passed all of it. Even Additional mathematics and physics [ i wasn't even listening to the teacher in class.. ] . How tyco can i be?

that makes me feel that, exams are not really that stressful. which is good for me. who cares about mid year exams. they are still 2 weeks away, i still have time to play, slack.[ this sentence prove that i GOT LIFE ]

ha, crap

Tomorrow is the day, the speech day. Yeah. A great day, whole class 38 pupils of 3e3'06 is going participate and attend the speech day. How cool can that be? going for a slacking session after speech day. cool.

next week is going to be a freaking "good" week for me. Yea, I got tough biology test, semi-interesting biology lesson and rubbish speech day rehearsal on the same freaking day. The "best" thing is, I can't skip any of those activities. What a damn good idea that was.

I wanted to go biology, not rehearsal. but the next day is the actual speech day, which means the rehearsal on thursday is my last practice. I can't skip bio, it's 1st priority. the worse thing is, I got test on that day, biology test , on enzymes!

I don't want to go to both of the "event" or whatever it is called. i shall look really stupid to carry more than 10 kg of those idiotic things for both lesson and rehearsal. it is really bulky. oh, god damn it.

what should i do? shall i jump off the building? or get knock down by a bus? or ignore everything? I dunno.

there goes mdm k, on her way to Australia with her family..
wish her good luck, bye mdm K. don't worry, no matter what, i will not give up on biology. i will try my best to score for bio. I LOVE BIOLOGY!

Happiness

Jade was happy as she received her results for the end of year exam. She scored a total of nine A1s. It was the first time she really scored a couple of subjects with flying colours. As she looked back, she thought that was the fruit of the hard work.

Many months back, she was thinking whether if she would take biology lessons after school. She was not sure if will regret taking this subject, as the lesson take place after school hours. She had a lot of doubts. What if she failed her biology and it pulled down the overall marks? What if she couldn't cope and understand it? What if she regret after she take up this new subject? But she was clear that her dream is to be a doctor in future, and this is related to biology. And so she took the risk, and was determined to take on the subject.

This few months was a tough one. While all her friends were back at home revising, Jade and some of her biology classmate was there, studying the new topic after school. She got home at 7 pm everyday. Sometimes, she felt that her energy level was getting lower and lower. She started not doing homework at home. She started to fall asleep in class. But Jade couldn't help it. She tried her best to keep herself awake in class. And finally, she started thinking of skipping her biology classes.

Jade knows that this won't work for long. She knows she has to buck up and do her homework. She knows she wouldn't want to drop this subject as she had fall in love with it now. She was determined to change her lifestyle and stop slacking in school works.

Soon she was revising her work every single day, even though she was really tired. It was tough for her. Even her friends describe her as "no life"because she seems to be studying every single day. But nothing stopped her from getting away from this goal. Soon, the end of year exam was around the corner. Jade revised and had a lot of rest before the exam really came. She was prepared for it.

On the days of the exams, she confidently walked into the examination room and did her exams. And finally, after getting the results, she knew that the seed she planted had grown. Her hard work has paid off.
