I am Sick

Sick of the long long hours i spent in school,
Sick of taking minor and major tests,
Sick of certain lessons,
Sick of staying back when others had gone home,
Sick of hearing news about studies,
Sick of listening to textbook jokes,
Sick of concentrating too much on studies,
Sick of homeworks,
Sick of studying for tests,
Sick of learning complicated stuffs

lastly but most importantly,
I am Sick of the attitude of my classmates.

I really cannot tolerate their attitude towards studies although all of them are proven that they are intelligent. Well, studying hard is not bad, in fact, it is a good way to lead you to a good JC or Poly. But to a certain point, it is ridiculous. Is like you know the chapters very well, you studied, you prepared and yet, you are still asking teachers to teach you. This made the teacher feels like teaching a fish to swim in water.

Some of them are so anxious or in another word "kiasu" that they will be the first to raise up their hands and volunteer to go open houses of various tertiary institutions. I know they are excited to go to a good school for a good future, but all this led to? greed to earn more money.

These attitudes made them arrogant and selfish, i wont give the examples for this. For the sake of studying, they sacrifies time for rest. this cover the true meaning of "work hard, play hard" and is this worth it just to study for life? For the past 3 years, i have been tolerating this kind of attitude, maybe i should be like Yong Shuang and get out of the so called "best class" in sec 2.
